  16. 3 In vitro tumor cell uptake of 18F-(2S,4R)4-Fluoroglutamine is higer than uptake of 18F-FDG. 1 Summary In vivo PET studies showed significant tumor uptake adnd trapping inside tumor tissue in 2 different tuor models. 2 The results support the feasibility of PET for the study of a fundamental change in tumor metabolism---high-rate glutaminolysis. 3
