  2. Weather Conditions Monthly Averages February is the warmest month and can get up to 80 degrees and low as 64. July is the coolest and driest month. The high is 64 degrees and the low is 47. The wettest month of the year is March. It can have up to 6.4” of rain. Their winter can be 80 degrees and cloudy. Right now 79 degrees is the high and the low is 70 degrees. There is a 10% chance of precipitation. Record Weather Hottest day was 78 degrees in January and the coldest was in July at 46 degrees. The fourth week in September was a horrible day for Sydney having one of it’s worst dust storms ever.

  3. Sydney’s National parks. Kamay Botany Bay National Park is were James Cook Endeavour and the first Aboriginals in 1770. There is also a nice coastal walk around the bay. In the Sydney Harbour National Park it still has tracts of Harbourside Native Bush land. The park is located within the Sydney metropolitan area and has various islands through out the park.   4. Sydney’s Animals • Sawfish have a flattened body with a long flat toothy snout. They don’t have teeth on their nose ;they are just scales. Sawfishes only eat shrimp and crabs that can be swallowed whole through the mouth. • The Echidna and the Platypus are the only members of the Monotreme family meaning they lays eggs and produce milk for their young. They are covered with sharp pines like the hedgehog and the porcupine.

  5. Sydney's Population On March 2010 the population of Sydney exceeded 4.5 million people. 12 to 14 percent of Sydney’s population are either form the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand. 1 out of every 6 people in New south Wales spoke a language different that English at home.

  6. Sydney’sviews Sydney has a lot of restaurants and famous cultural sites that you can learn about while your there. It has resorts and vacationing spots or can also be a place to work.
