  3. Elements • Educational: • Objective: • What? How? Why? • The Reference: • Bible Story • External Story • Real Story • The Verse: • Should serve the objective • The Servant Reflection • What? Now What? So What?

  4. Elements (continued) • Audience Engagement: • Personal Enthusiasm • Readiness • Voice Tone • Aids • Visual Aids • Brain Teasers • Songs • Competition • Workshops (Do it yourself!)

  5. Core • Humble Yourself • You are talking about God • In the House of God • In the Presence of God • Start with a Prayer • Ask God to Help you: • Delivering the message • Touching the hearts • Using you to change lives

  6. Core (continued) • Care • Love your kids • Think about them • Their needs • Their weaknesses – "Who is weak and I'm not weak? who is made to stumble and I don't burn with indignation" (2 Co 11:29) • Their behaviors / lives.

  7. Phase I • Be Creative: • Think about the best ways to deliver your objective: • In an easy way • With aids • Use real life stories • Use your understanding of their needs • Get them engage: • Active audience learn more • Encourage participation • Use visual aid to stress ideas

  8. Phase II • Use Guidance: • Don't teach a lesson without running it by your coordinator. Why? • To entertain the blessing of discipleship • To enforce the integrity of teaching: "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you” (1 Ti 4:16)

  9. Results • Spiritual act • Discipleship spirit in our church • Growth for you and your kids • Relationship that will last for longer than you imagine between: The Lord You Kids
