  2. Assignment • Chapters 10-13 will be covered by a major presentation project. • There will be groups of four to five people assigned to cover a specific topic in the chapters mentioned above. • You task-use a visual oriented presentation to teach the class your subject. • Become Experts!

  3. Requirements • A 15 minute presentation on your topic • Everyone Participates • Power Point required • Handouts required • Quiz required • Bibliography required • Detailed knowledge of the topic by everyone in the group • Professional Behavior Expected

  4. Requirements Explained15 Minute Presentation • Your group is required to present for at least 15 minutes, no more than 20 minutes • Everyone in your group must take part in the presentation aspect (not just handing something out)

  5. Requirements Explained Everyone Participates • Every single person must become an expert. • Everyone must have an equal part, leaders are welcome, but divide the jobs and presentation equally.

  6. Requirements ExplainedPower Point • You are required to complete a power point presentation for your project. • Must contain at least 10 slides • There must be a Title slide, and a bibliography slide • Pictures a must, video a plus

  7. Requirements ExplainedHandouts • Your group will be expected to create a handout to give to the class • Period 1 About 16 Students • Period 7 About 25 Students • Could be anything: Notes, Pictures, pamphlets… Be creative

  8. Requirements ExplainedQuiz • You must give your classmates a quiz on the material covered • Must be in handout form • Does not count as the handout • Must have at least five questions • Any format is fine

  9. Requirements ExplainedBibliography • Your group must create a bibliography with at least five sources • Proper MLA format required • Google or any other search engine is not a source • Wikepedia is not a source

  10. Requirements ExplainedKnowledge • Your group will be asked at least two questions from your classmates • The teacher will choose which students ask questions and receive • You may divide the presentation into parts, but make sure you know everyone else’s part!!!! • Any question on the presentation is fair game for anyone.

  11. Requirements ExplainedProfessional Behavior • Stand Up Straight • Nothing in mouths • Speak clearly • Pay attention • Practice-Avoid mispronunciation
