  5. I. GOD PROVIDES A WAY OF ESCAPE • God is faithful – dependable • Never tempted above what we are able to bear • God provides a way to escape from every temptation

  6. II. WE MUST DESIRE TO ESCAPE • Must want to escape • Joseph - Gen. 39 = fled from sin • David – II Sam. 11 – called for sin • Jas. 1:13-15 • Ps. 1:1-2

  7. III. WE MUST FOLLOW THE WAY OF ESCAPE • Way of escape must be safe • Go from one sin to another which we consider to be smaller!!! • “They could be doing something worse” Not a way of escape
