Phil. 2:5-8 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!

  5. Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

  6. Who first received the law? • Was it Abraham? • Was it Isaac? Or Jacob?

  7. Who first received the law? Was it Abraham? Was it Isaac? Or Jacob? It was Moses… hundreds of years after God made a covenant with Abraham.

Matt. 22:37-40 (NIV) 37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

  10. You have heard it said….Do not murder… But I tell you, that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment.
