  1. Summer works with CINEMA • Yuchul Shin • School of Space Research • Kyung Hee University

  2. AGENDA • What CINEMA sub-system I been working on? • What was the state of the system when I got started? • What is the state now, and who is affected by it? • How has this progress been documented? • What remains before this system is part of a flight-ready satellite?

  3. What CINEMA sub-system I been working on?

  4. What was the state of the system when I got started? • The ACS was the end of state. • Some simulations, drift time or precession time which were done by Yao-Ting. • Communication test with FSW and Ground Station was done. • Albedo effect of Earth was been simulating. • Task time to control attitude in dsPIC was been simulating.

  5. What is the state now, and who is affected by it? • Understood Yao-Ting’s algorithm • Using two coil(precession, spin) in the precession mode • Ecliptic normal attitude which is different from Karla’s simulink • Some simulations were done using Yao-ting’s code. • Detumble, spin up, precession, drift motion simulation • Working on making another attitude which is rotated 90 degrees

  6. What is the state now, and who is affected by it? • A desired angular momentum(Berkeley, KHU CINEMA)- using ecliptic normal attitude Desired attitude ecliptic

  7. What is the state now, and who is affected by it? • 90 deg desired angular momentum in ECI (KHU CINEMA)- Theattitude is including in the ecliptic plane Some Desired attitude ecliptic Desired attitude of KHU

  8. What is the state now, and who is affected by it? • Possible angular momentum in ECI (KHU CINEMA)

  9. How has this progress been documented? • Yao-Ting made the document ‘CPD 1000-ACS’ • I will make up the progress about ACS of CINEMAwhich are ecliptic normal and rotated 90 degrees attitude.

  10. What remains before this system is part of a flight-ready satellite? • Making and Simulating for rotated 90 degrees attitude with Yao-Ting • Transforming simulink code to C-code which will be setted in FSW • Some communication tests with FSW, GSE willbe done in Korea. • Sending, receiving telemetry, command data

  11. Thank you
