  5. BSO Retreat • Occurred Sat. Oct. 27th • New Vision statement: • To be the unified leaders for student organization growth and development • New Mission statement • BSO strives to support and represent organizations that enable healthy co-curricular growth of CSM students

  6. Re-Allocations • BSO • Collects over-tier requests • Evaluates requests for tier requirements and budgetary policies • Budget Committee • Takes BSO recommendations • Evaluates requests based on appropriateness of expenditures and budgetary policies • USG • Approves final re-allocations spread

  7. Creating Budgets for Approval • BSO Treasurer can help! • Ask questions, trouble spots can be reworked before allocation requests are due • We want you to get as much money as you need, let us help you create a strong, approvable budget • mtrauber@mines.edu

  8. Goals Form • Can be found on OrgSync->BSO->Forms • Due for tiers 2 and 3 in two weeks • Tuesday, November 13th • Help for creating good goals always available at office hours

  9. OrgSync – Event Registration • Lots of good campus resource usage data • Allowing events to go on to the school calendar • Easy way to find upcoming events without the what's happening email

  10. Community Service • Up-till-Dawn – Letter Writing Event • Changed To: Wed. Nov 14th • Team Registration stjude.org/utd • Contact Stephanie sives@mines.edu • National Philanthropy Day • November 15 • Have a booth or look for opportunities!

Community Service • Robotics Club First Lego League Tournament • November 18th, 7:00am - 6:00 pm • High Schools – Talk about your college experience • November 2, 8:25 - 9:15 and 11:45 - 12:45 • December 11, 2:00 – 3:00 • Action Center • Every Weekend-day start 11:30 to 1:00 • Move and sort food to have ready by Monday
