  7. Bea Low Notley ’42 shows daughter Marianne a favorite professor in the ’42 Multifaria, and Ting Gant, the digital initiatives librarian from MU’s King Library who designed the new Archives website, receives congratulations from Carol Silvernail Swager ’56. Reunion 2006

  8. Archivist Jacky Johnson, garbed in Western blue for the occasion, is understandably happy about the latest project of the WCMA. Reunion 2006

  9. The 50-year class requested an afternoon tea, so tea and crumpets it is! Their colors, jade and gray, are interpreted in boas and beads modeled by Joyce Roark Phillips, Carol Morton Friedman, Helen Potts Felsenthal, Roberta Hoover Chafee, Joan Anderson Kafer and Carol Silvernail Swager.   10. Tuffy’s sweet rolls (and popcorn) are fun food at the Lodge for Barbara Johnson Mecklenborg, Pris Strand Berry and Mary Ann McCain Lynch from the Class of ’53, and “Van” Vandersluis, Nancy Hon Krauth, CeCe Griffin Waggoner and Ruth McVicker Rhodenbaugh from the Class of ’51. Reunion 2006

Miami theatre professor Ann Elizabeth Armstrong is the coordinator of a number of interdisciplinary and collaborative projects planned over the next several years to tell the story of Freedom Summer ’64. The presentation ends at the Freedom Summer Memorial amphitheater, with small group discussions of the book, Letters from Mississippi. Reunion 2006

  34. Westerners of all eras pack Peabody fourth to plan the strategy for presenting to the Miami Board of Trustees an argument in favor of continuing the Western Program. Reunion 2006

  35. A tent, a martini bar, and a musical ensemble make for plenty of summertime congeniality on Patterson Place lawn. Reunion 2006

Later at the Saturday evening banquet, Ann and Debbie were introduced as winners of the 2006 Alumnae Service Award. Reunion 2006
