National Society of Black Engineers Region One Saturday, April 25, 2009 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM AWFE increases awareness of the opportunities available through education, particularly in STEM fields while shattering myths about Minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Volunteers walk door-to-door distributing information about area college admissions, area vocational schools, GED, SAT/ACT, NSBE Resources, and financial aid. Registration Opens at 11:00 AM Central Location: NJIT, Canpus Center • All Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt! • Community Barbeque on NJIT Green at 3:00 PM
