  5. Divisibility Rules? • Divisibility rules are “tricks” to make dividing fast. • Using divisibility rules helps you know which numbers can be divided evenly by a certain number.

  6. Divisibility Rule for 7 • Take the last digit in a number and double it. Subtract that from the rest of the digits. If your answer is divisible by 7, the whole number can be divided by 7. • EX: 357 7 doubled is 14 35 – 14 = 21 21 / 7 = 3 SO 357 can be divided by 7
