The Right Kind of People • Cornelius “had called together his relatives and close friends.” Acts 10:24, 27 • The right kind of person is anyone who will come and listen to the gospel. • Not everyone will respond to our invitation, but we must still invite and compel people to come and listen. Luke 14:16-23

  3. 2. The Right Kind of Preacher • Peter was going to tell them words by which they would be saved. Acts 11:14

  4. 2. The Right Kind of Preacher • Not everyone is the right kind of preacher. • Some hold false views and will teach error. 2 John 9-11 • Some have sin in their life. • Some will tickle ears. 2 Tim. 4:3 • Some do not know how to speak the truth in love. Eph. 4:15; Col. 4:6

  5. 2. The Right Kind of Preacher • The power to save and edify is in the gospel. Romans 1:16; Acts 20:32 • It is up to the preacher to communicate the gospel in an effective manner.
