  2. Purpose/ Experimental Question:How does ferns circumference change as rainfall increase. Hypothesis: If there is more rainfall then the fern circumference will be bigger because there is more water for the fern. Independent variable: rainfall Dependant variable: size of ferns

  3. Materials: Tape measure, pencil, paper, Folder . 1. Every 100ft stop to collect data.2. Look for 10 ferns.3. Get tape measure and measure circumference of ferns.4. Record data.The fern we will be measuring will be the Hapu’u of the Cibotium Spp.
