  3. Obscene: (adj)- offensive by accepted standards of morality. Example: He made an obscene gesture at the driver who cut him off.

  4. Demerit: (noun)- offense or a fault. Example- Students are given demerits if they arrive late to class. • Inconspicuous: (adj)- not readily noticeable. Example: She tried to remain as inconspicuous as possible in class because she forgot her homework.

  5. Reconstitute: (verb)- to bring back , restore to a former condition. Example: They have plans to reconstitute the bankrupt company. • Errant: (adj)- to move aimlessly – do not follow guidelines or standards. Example: He was an errant traveler as he refused to follow guidebooks or maps.

  6. Wan: (adj)- suggestive of poor health. Example- There were rumors spread about him due to his wan appearance. • Pseudo: • (adj)- something or someone false. Example- She took her cousin as her pseudo date to the prom.

  7. Interim: (noun)- and intervening time, interval. Example- You need to make sure that you have all of your work in before interim reports are due. • Fascists: (noun)- a person who has extreme right-wing views (believe in having absolute power). Example- Their strength is the key to stopping the fascists.

  8. Drones: (noun)- the male honeybee (stingless and don’t produce honey). • Blathers: (noun) foolish talk Example- It's annoying when people blather while at the gym.

  9. Floundering: (verb)- to struggle with stumbling or plunging movements. Example- The lifeguard saved the floundering child from drowning in the pool. • Synchronized: • (verb)- to indicate something at the same time. Example- I reminded the athletes to have their dance routine synchronized.

  10. Indoctrination: • (noun)- the act of teaching with a specific point of view (biased). Example- There is no greater crime than to indoctrinate young minds with false information. • Thespians: (adj)- describe something related to drama or the arts. (noun)- an actress or an actor. Example- A person who is excellent at performing is an example of someone who would be described as having thespian talent.
