  3. Study Goals  1) Provide Radiology Residents in Nairobi with teaching sessions by a mentor from University of Virginia, USA; and, 2) Assess the feasibility of creating a community of learners among residents at AKUH, Nairobi.

Brant, MD Prof. of Radiology, U of Virginia Health System • Curriculum Development • Needs assessment – Visit Nairobi, October 2007 • Teaching file on Ftp sites • Monthly live internet sessions on WebEx • Cases for 17 weekly Col meetings • Google discussion board

Goal 2  Resident Community of Learners OBJECTIVE:to enhance collaborative learning among Radiology residents at AKUHN. • Validate understanding of new information • Make it ‘fit’ practice in Kenya? • 17 weekly meetings of Community of Learners • Resident’s learning diary • Google Discussion Board
