  2. Natural gas is considered one of the cleanest sources of energy currently available. In fact in the process of combustion, natural gas produces a smaller amount of air pollutants like carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide and also inconsiderable emissions of sulfur oxide, but it doesn’t produce fine particles, contributing to the improvement of the quality of the air and of the environment.

  3. Iscomposed by… • It 's a fossil fuel composed of a mixture of hydrocarbons, predominantly methane (90-95%), for this reason it is also identified with the term of methane or methane gas. Normally it also contains heavier gaseous hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane, butane and pentane. There are always a small percentage of non-hydrocarbon gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen, noble gases and hydrogen sulfide.

  4. The natural gas can be also formed through the transformation of the organic matter made by microorganisms.
