Vocabulary:turn to Wordplay in your journal and write these words and definitions. • 35 - Ambled – (V) to walk with no purpose • 36 - Bovine– (N) having qualities of cows or oxen • 37 - Contemplation (V)– to think about something • 38 - Melancholy– (ADJ) a sad mood, maybe thinking about the past. .

Oct 9th - Vocabulary:turn to Wordplay in your journal and write these words and definitions. • 39- Rueful - exciting pity or sympathy • 40- Intrusion – to force your way inside • 41- Grimace – a twisting of the face • 42- Exasperate – to make angry • 43 – Jaunty – lively in manner or appearance .
