  1. Madagascar – is the film true? Watch the film Madagascar, Alex the Lion and his friends find themselves marooned in Madagascar on the way back to Kenya. Write a short film review explaining what Madagascar is like and how the cartoon portrays this part of Africa (remember what it looks like, sounds like and smells like!). Then using your own research compare what you have seen in the film with the ‘real’ Madagascar. If you visited Madagascar now what would be the same/different? Use images from the film and images from Madagascar to compare and contrast the cartoon and the real place. Present your homework as a poster – that includes your film review and annotated pictures/images of Madagascar. Good Luck 
