  4. What makes your data useable? • Data should be accurate • Concise • Clearly defined data variables and sources

  5. Reporting the Data • Reporting the data is the “accountability” and “action” part of the process • Create meaning out of data • Make the data work for you and your unit.

  6. Reporting Questions • Create meaning • What is obvious in the date? • Ambiguous? • What recommendations/actions would you make based on the analysis of assessment data? - Take a position/make a decision.

  7. Create Meaningful Action Use your data to tell your story, to make the point you intend

  8. Create Meaningful Action • Action with program objectives, expected task and/or responsibilities of unit • Change in program, service, or policy • Duplication

  9. Create Meaningful Action • Staff development topic • Rethink stated outcomes • No action (with justification)

  10. Closing the Loop • Reassembling team to discuss… • Assessment process • Reflect on data • Create action plan
