Finding APTI Self-Instructional Courses • Courses are on APTI-Learn Site • You must register and indicate in your profile which function you are interested in (e.g., permits, monitoring, etc.) • Then go to the My Training tab, and courses will be listed, both in-person and self-instructional • www.apti-learn.net

MARAMA Support for Courses • MARAMA typically offers to support hotel accommodations for up to 2 staff members per member agency • Announcements are sent from MARAMA’s Training Coordinator to the agency Training Coordinator and Air Director • Your training coordinator will identify who is to receive support from MARAMA • If additional travel support is needed, the Air Director must send a request to the MARAMA Executive Director

MARAMA Support for Travel • MARAMA typically offers to support travel costs up to some dollar amount for national EPA meetings or other specific events • Announcements are sent to the agency Training Coordinator and Air Director • Requests for support must come from your agency’s training coordinator to MARAMA’s training coordinator • If additional travel support is needed, the Air Director must send a request to the MARAMA Executive Director

Identifying Training Needs • Review the list of courses recommended for your functional area • Consider the priorities and new programs that will affect your unit or function • What training would help your unit fulfill its function? • Tell your training coordinator! • Tell MARAMA’s training coordinator (Sue Dilli) • Have your Air Director bring it up at a quarterly MARAMA meeting
