Oxygen Tank Trade Study • Read through information on history of space suits to gather information from both US and Russian sources • Compile all of that information into one collective set of data • Research pressure vessels from all other facets of life • Take all of the research and find a way to create a lighter oxygen tank

  6. Ventilation Lab Build-up • Helped order parts • Participated in writing Vent Lab URR • Worked with LabView to build a program for collecting data when the testing is ready

  7. Presentations • Presented during “Take Your Child to Work Day” • Co-presented some suit demonstrations for visitors • Personal suit presentation to fellow interns

  8. Presentations • Helped to design the new education outreach presentation • Found lots of video clips to use • Learned something new almost every day

  9. Takeaways • Don’t be afraid to ask questions, everyone is willing to help • Becoming an expert in one topic allows learning from many other topics • There’s something new to learn everyday • NASA is a great place to work and I would like to come back

  10. Future Plans • Return to JSC for another internship • More experience with acoustics related projects • Graduate
