  1. CoRoT seismology – Ground based preparation Seismology targets candidates (~1500 stars mv ≤ 8) C. Catala E. Poretti E. Solano … Strömgren photometry High resolution echelle spectroscopy High angular resolution imaging rotation multiplicity peculiarities Teff, log g metallicity Teff, log g abundances polluting sources (~ 6000 meas.) (~ 2500 spectra) OHP: Elodie, Aurelie; ESO: Feros; etc… Schmidt plates + CFH: AOB OSN

  2. CoRoT database (seismo) – Ground based preparation • C0R0TSKY database: 11,921 stars in CoRoT eyes with mV<9.5 • High resolution spectroscopy + strömgren photometry for 1500 stars (all stars with mV<=8 + some <9.5) Data available in GAUDI (http://sdc.laeff.esa.es/gaudi/) • These data + available catalogues used to determine fundamental parameters • Accessible with COROTSKY tool Effort supported by Laboratories and Participating Countries

  3. CoRoT seismology follow-up Programme • ESO large programme: on 2.2m + FEROS • 15 nights/semester for 2 year • OHP 193cm + Sophie: ~ 15 nights/semester • Calar Alto + FOCES: ~ 15 nights/semester ======> Line profile variations + Radial Velocity of  ’’classical’’ pulsators • NARVAL/TBL programme: 15-20 nights/semester ======> Magnetic fields of solar-type targets, Be stars and Ap stars
