  4. LE Strike teams • ATF – 3000 • Florida (staged in northern MS) – LE strike teams • GA – Has correctional strike teams and will check into potential support • NC – Will check into potential support • SC – Will check into potential support

  5. Ambulance Strike Team (ST) TN • Requirement for 53 • Has 20 STs • Gap of 33 Support States • GA- has 3 STs and multiple ambulance buses • NC- 20-30 ambulancebuses, 30 ambulances, SMAT (no ambulances) • SC- R MAT

  6. Debris Mngt (Rt Clearance) TN • Requirement for 154 • Has (contractor situation) Support States • GA- Has 2 STs

  7. Public Assistance Teams NC • 18 PA personnel • Reserve Corps- 12 people • 6 on staff

  8. Additional Information • NC has 7 state Hazmat teams willing to support with 4 South Co has regional teams plus CST • SAR: NC has Heloaquaticteam (swift water rescue capability) • NC alpine SAR 1 team • GA Hazmat 10 type II available, trained SAR personnel from State Defense Force • SC has NG multi-role bridging company

  9. Additional Clarification/Information • Better definition of deployable Strike Teams from state and local assets (not all teams fit into NIMS definitions)

  10. Issues Pending Resolution • Identifying gaps that can be filled with evacuees and volunteers, including training
