  2. (Je to tabulka topologie, nikoliv routing table) Moje Feasible distance Cílová síť Successor Feasible successor Moje Feasible distance do cílové sítě, když zvolím cestu přes něj Můj port, přes který vede cesta Jeho Reported distance do cílové sítě

  3. Když je cesta P = pasivní, je hotová, použitelná, už se do ní nevrtá. Když je cesta A = aktivní, tak se na ní pracuje, ještě není hotová. V ustáleném stavu jsou všechny cesty P = pasivní.
