  4. Summary • The book Identical is about two twins whose names are Kaeleigh and Raeanne. On the exterior, everything about the sisters is the same, down to the freckles on their face. But, once you look a little deeper you will find that the sisters couldn’t be more different. Their family life seems to follow this same pattern. At first glance any normal person would think that they are the picture perfect family: A mom that’s a powerful politician, a dad that is a district court judge, and two beautiful teenage daughters. But what people don’t see is the secrets that lie in the increasing alcohol abuse and the disturbing relationship between kaeleigh and her father. Will these secrets last or will kaeleigh and Raeanne not be able to keep quiet anymore? Read more to reveal the shocking ending!

  5. Review • I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading realistic fiction that features teen girls battling with hard life decisions. I would also give this book an 8 out of 10 rating because it has a crazy plot twist at the end and is written very well.

Similar books • Nothing by Robin Friedman- I would also recommend reading nothing because it features similar problems that Kaeliegh and Raeanne face and it has teen struggle with body imaging. • Waiting by Carol Lynch Williams- Waiting would also be a good book because it features a teen girl that is similar to the twins that is facing loss and family troubles.
