  2. Mission: to provide increased access to healthy foods in homeless and working poor communities across Davidson County Food insecurity due to issues of poverty, low wages, unemployment & rising costs of food and living The Nashville food project

  3. kitchen • Lbs of gathered food from: • Local farms • Demonstration gardens • Supermarkets • Donations

  4. Garden • Grew their own crops • Vegetables • Fruits • All-natural top bar beehive • Raised happy chickens • Herbs

  5. Food trucks • Serves over 2,400 meals every month • Teams of 3-6 volunteers running a truck schedule • Specific day • Specific community • Opportunity to practice hospitality & engage in transformative relationships
