M1 Task Analyse how a selected website has been designed to meet the requirements of its target audience • Choose 1 website from your 3 • Identify and explain in detail the target audience (Who is it aimed at, gender, age, income, lifestyle, and social class and why?) • How has the DESIGN of the website met the requirements of the target audience? (Talk about navigation, language, efficiency, speed of response, respect for privacy, design of web pages, accessibility, and visual appeal) Unit 34: Business Studies @ TSS

M1 Help • Navigation (Quality and deign of the navigation + ability to complete transactions) • Language (Use of language in content and legible text) • Efficiency (Quick and easy) • Speed of response (Making the site fast to respond to page changes) • Respect for privacy (protected website, usernames and passwords, cookies) • Design of web pages (User paths through the site, ranking information, search engine operation, personalisation vs speed, visual appeal vs speed, visual appeal vs legibility) • Accessibility (DDA Act) • Visual Appeal (fonts and graphics, multimedia elements, white space, appealing to target group, consistency with brand image) Unit 34: Business Studies @ TSS
