  2. The roots of Bulgarian art came from Ancient Thracian time. It shows the spirit, beauty and temper of Bulgarian people.

  3. Thracian arts There are one of the most impressive monuments of the Thracian culture – in Bulgaria – tombs, treasures, valuable works of art.

  4. Thracian arts There are preserved Thracian culture in Bulgaria, which had been built with unrivalled gracefulness architecture and decoration.

  5. Middle Ages Art Hundreds of places in Bulgaria are stated to be cultural monuments. Eight of them are recognized as unique with international importance. They are priceless not only for Bulgaria, but for the whole humankind.They are included inthe UNESCO World Heritage List.

  6. Middle Ages ArtBoyanska tsarkva (The Boyana Church) is a medieval Bulgarian Ortodox church situated on the outskirts ofSofia , the capital of Bulgaria. The monument was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

  17. Rayna Kabaivanska She is a Bulgarian opera singer, one of the leading lyrico-spinto sopranos. Her famous role is Tosca from Puccini.

  18. Nikolay Gyaurov He  was one of the most famous basses. He was admired for his powerful, sumptuous voice. Don Basilio from Rossini is his best role.

  19. Nikola Gyuzelev He is a Bulgarian opera- bass, particularly associated with the Italian and Russian repertories. His best role is Boris Godunov from Musorgski.

  20. Mystery of Bulgarian Voices Traditional Bulgarian music has had more international success, due to the breakout of the Mystery of Bulgarian voices- a women's choir that has topped world music.
