Description • Provide a platform for demonstration and evaluation of NextGen concepts • Rapid integration capability for prototypes • Allow end-to-end (multi-domain) demonstrations • Enable interaction with existing & arising NAS systems • Act as open evaluation platform to analyze feasibility of new technologies • Foster government / industry partnerships • Support integrated demonstrations to validate large scale modeling and simulation efforts

Test Bed Project Description • Logically united, but physically distributed: • Daytona Beach, FL • Atlantic City, NJ (Tech Center) • Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (NASA NTX) • FY10 Activities: • Initiate Florida planning and implementation activities • Coordinate with Tech Center • Coordinate with NASA • Initiate coordination with our Government / Industry partners

Accomplishments To Date • Completed Multi-year Program Plan & Project Schedule • Drafted Strategy Plan & Concept of Operations • Drafted AJP-6 Demonstration schedule • Initiated discussions with WJHTC and NASA NTX for Test Bed partnership • Awarded Planning Phase for Test Bed Implementation • Completed Test Bed Project Kickoff • Completed TIM#1 for planning phase

Future Plans • Currently drafting requirements, architecture, facility development plans • Establish overall Governance model for Test Bed • Establish partnership with WJHTC and NASA/NTX for integrated Test Bed • Issue task for Test Bed Implementation Phase • Facility build-out • Acquire systems, install, setup • Establish connection with R&D Domain • Coordinate with SWIM & other LOBs to align plans with Test Bed systems & architecture
