  2. Dear Coaches,Today we are going to figure out how many pockets we are all wearing! Count the number of pockets you are wearing and place a sticker in the appropriate place on the graph on the board.

  3. Sharing • Form 2 parallel lines that face each other. • Greet the person directly across from you. • State a fact about the data we have gathered about our pockets. Example: “Five people have ten pockets on their clothing.” • Everyone in the line by the windows move a space to the right. • Greet your new partner and state another fact about the data. • Repeat.

  4. Group Activity • Each person will be given a vocabulary pocket. When the signal is given, you will walk around the room and find a partner with a vocabulary word that can be linked to yours. • Once you find your partner(s), you must state the relationship between your terms. • Are there any other people you could partner with? • Discuss the merits of this activity and how you might adapt it to use in your building.
