The LearnHigher folding year planner • Portable, flexible and attractive • Includes space for notes, useful information and tips for effective planning • Good for getting overviews of deadlines and commitments • Can be carried like a diary or folded out like a wall planner Effective time management is key to successful academic study

Designed for university students • Design informed by research with students and academic staff • Piloted at University of Reading with 526 students across 8 departments • 92% of survey respondents said the planner helped their time management • 79% of survey respondents want a full year planner for 2008-09 • 41% of survey respondents are still using their planner

  4. The year planner is designed to display six months on each side when fully unfolded

  5. Perhaps the most popular usage has been to fold it to display a day-by-day page for one month and a notes page
