  3. Quiz Friday - Items • Possessives. Know what they mean and how to use them. • Cuartos Vocabulary. # 29-43 • Muebles Vocabulary. #44-64 • Lots of vocabulary!

  4. Rest of the Year: • Quiz – TOMORROW! • Monday, December 12th – Jeopardy Review (if all missing work is done). Review Quiz • Wednesday, December 14th – Written portion of mid-term • Thursday, December 15th – Multiple Choice Mid-Term Covers ONLY this Unit

  5. Multiple Choice: • Around 40-50 questions • All multiple choice (done on scantron) • Need to know EVERY Vocabulary word on the yellow list PLUS the white list. Excluding only the section about cumpleaños. • Don’t forget possessives and how to conjugate tener

  6. Writing • You will be given what the written portion looks like today • Between now and Wednesday, work on this. • I am here to help you. • During the written portion. Only dictionaries will be allowed.

  7. Notes on Writing • Every sentence needs a verb • Don’t double up verbs • Noun before adjective • Adjectives agree in number and gender • ‘s doesn’t exist in Spanish • Articles!!!! Do you need it? Read the sentence (el/la – un/una)

  8. Actual Examples • “Ricardo case es pequeño.” • “Casa de Ricardo es pequeña una baño y dos dormitorios.” • Dormitorio alfombra roja

  9. Top tips for writing in Spanish • The best advice I can give you is to ALWAYS translate what you just wrote! • If the sentence makes no sense, then think of another way to say it. • If you don’t know how to say a certain word, avoid it and think of a word you do know. • Don’t write with a dictionary open
