POSITION THE LEADING ORGANIZATION IN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH- • Active participation in critical health issues facing the nation • Initiation and implementation of women’s health programs nationwide • Collaboration with the DOH, LGUs and NGOs health program initiatives and educational campaigns • Participation (especially as resource experts) in various fora on health issues both locally and internationally

  6. POSITION • Participation in international medical congresses especially Asian Region • Presentation of exemplary researches in international conventions and publications in international journals

  7. PROGRAMS • pro-active strategies for the reduction of maternal morbidity and mortality and for optimum women’s health care delivery • Priority projects include- Advances in Labor and Risk Management (ALARM) Adolescent Health Issues and Perspectives (AHIP) MDG Countdown Project

  8. PROGRAMS • Expansion of health care programs and educational campaigns to all sectors based on needs assessment • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of impact of POGS projects on sectors served

  9. PEOPLE • The MOST important component of the Roadmap • Initiators and implementors of all projects and activities • Most important determinant of program sustainability • Mandates effective transfer of core values and commitment to the younger generation
