Essential QuestionsQuestions should be answered during and at the end of this unit. • What are the main reasons people bully others? • What can the victims do if they’re being bullied? • How can we, as a whole, attempt to stop bullying? • What would be some effective methods schools and parents can use to control bullying?

CREATING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT • ALL STUDENTS SHOULD FEEL THAT THEY CAN EXPRESS THEMSELVES IN THIS CLASS WITHOUT BEING TALKED ABOUT OUTSIDE OF THIS CLASS. • RESPECT OTHERS’ OPINIONS- YOU MAY NOT AGREE, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO! • IF ANYONE GOSSIPS, DISCUSSES, OR SPEAKS POORLY ABOUT ANOTHER CLASSMATE, EXTREME CONSEQUENCES WILL BE TAKEN!
