The hole favors a long tee ball, with room for error, as the fairway is very wide. Your round could start with disaster if you find the bunker in the middle of the fairway. It will be difficult to advance the ball out Of this bunker, it is modeled after the famed “Hell Bunker” of the Old Course at St. Andrews. The approach shot is over water to a green tucked into the hill-side.

The tee shot is down hill over a pond with a slight dog-leg right. The approach shot is also downhill to a large green. The green has two levels and is receptive to incoming shots. The large bunker to the left guards any stray shots hit short and left.

Easier said then done, this 170 yard par 3 has an elevated tee 140 feet above the green. The bail-out area short of the green was carved out of the ravine allowing for a short shot to be playable. With the creek directly behind the green it is better to be short than long. But wait, if you are going to be short, don’t be right, there is a small pond just to the right and in-front of the green. With all this to think about, be sure to stop and enjoy the water fall to the left of the tee.

This hole follows the base of the mountain to the left and creek to the right. There are Two stone walls running perpendicular to the fairway that where un-harmed during the construction, and now serve as a kind of launching pad for golfers. The starts very wide and gets tight at towards the landing zone, giving a great risk-reward value to this hole. The approach shot is over the creek to a green that is guard by two bunkers. A bunker behind the green was built out of stone found on the green site.

Across the creek the greens complex is quite large and forgiving. This hole should play as one of easier holes on the course.

The par five starts at the highest point on the course teeing off over a pond to a landing zone guarded by a fairway bunker on the left. It is best to lay-up the second shot to the edge of the split fairway. This leaves a short downhill shot to a large green. Pay close attention to the pin placement, as the green is separated by a mound in the middle of the green. The small pond on the left and large bunker on the right might make your decision easier if you are thinking of reaching the green in two.
