  4. From a Teachers Conference 1703 Students today can't prepare bark to calculate their problems. They depend on their slates which are more expensive. What will they do when slate is dropped and it breaks? They will be unable to write!

  5. From a Principal's Publication in 1815 Students today depend on paper too much. They don't know how to write on a slate without getting chalk dust all over themselves. They can't clean a slate properly. What will they do when they run out of paper?

  6. National Association of Teachers Journal 1907 Students today depend too much upon ink. They don't know how to use a pen knife to sharpen a pencil. Pen and ink will never replace the pencil.

  7. From Federal Teachers 1950 Ball point pens will be the ruin of education in our country. Students use these devices and throw them away. The American value of thrift and frugality are being discarded. Businesses and banks will never allow such expensive luxuries.

Tulemus • Karin Naruskovi uuring (2009): • 42% ei räägi lapsevanemaga oma probleemidest, sest vanemad ei paku lahendust probleemile. • Helle Isakannu uurimus (2008): • 67% jagas oma negatiivset kogemust Internetis sõbraga, lapsevanemaga ei jaganud seda mitte keegi • Eurobaromeetri uuring (2007): • Noored usuvad, et nad oskavad käituda piisavalt ohutult võõrastega Internetis • 9-10 aastased informeerivad ebameeldivatest kogemustest Internetis oma vanemaid • 12-14 aastased ei informeeri sellest oma vanemaid • Helena Uri uurimus (2007) • 56% hindas enda arvutiteadmisi vanemate omast kõrgemaks ja 26% hindas oma teadmisi kõrgemaks arvutiõpetaja teadmistest

  11. Tim Berners-Lee: The basic idea of the Web is that it is an information space through which people can communicate, but communicate in a special way, by sharing their knowledge in a pool. The Web is more of a social creation than a technical one.It has not changed anything fundamentally in the way human beings think, read and communicate with each other.
