  2. Australian Hearing Who are we? • National program • Funded to provide hearing services to eligible adults and young adults • Sole provider of funded hearing services for children • CAPD program - a fee-for-service program for normally hearing children

  10. Clinical Quality • Clinical Audit: • Review of assessment appointment • 100 files (2 per clinician) • Next steps: • Feedback to individual clinicians • Summary to managers and Principal Audiologist • Modification of training and clinical resources if indicated

  11. Summary • A consistent national CAPD program was achieved • Remote clinical support networks were effective • Supporting parents with home-based auditory training programs was the most common issue
