Overview of sites submitted by the agreed deadline (25 May): Submission through web interface Supplemented by tables where technical problems prevented MS from using the web interface Tables need to be checked – may contain errors “List of sites proposed for the final intercalibrationregister“

  5. Most countries have submitted or will submit sites: No response from Malta Lakes: BG, CZ, LU, SK indicated that they have only small (<0.5 km2) lakes Intercalibration register

  8. Coastal: numbers of sites by GIG(status 25 May 2004)

  9. Rivers(status 2 July 2004) Electronically submitted: 493 sites (56%) 22 countries

  10. Lakes(status 2 July 2004) Electronically submitted: 250 sites (64%) 19 countries

  11. Coastal/Transitional(status 2 July 2004) Electronically submitted: 172 sites (84%) 15 countries

  12. Member States finalise site submissions (with site specific metadata) as agreed at the WFD Committee meeting by 15 September Site information will be made available for GIG experts for planning of the details of intercalibration process analysis of the composition and comparability of the final network Finalisation timetable
