  1. Jet Engine By Sultan al Malki

  2. What is the Jet Engine? • The jet engine is another way of transportation but is mostly used in long distance travel and this type of transportation is the fastest.

  3. Why they created Jet Engines • Before the jet engine there was another way for transportation for a long distance but it was much slower and less comfortable they use ships and propeller driven airplane.

  4. Dr.Hans Von Ohain • Dr.hans von ohain created the first jet engine his air plane flew in 1939. He was born on December 14 1911 in Dessau. He had a theory of jet propulsion in 1933. he had a doctorate in physics. Ohain made a better advances engine that was flown in 1941. Dr.hans von ohain had died in his home in in march 13 1998.

  5. Story of the Jet Engine • In the 1920s a young man called frank whittle had presented to the air ministry a design of the jet engine but they. The design he made of the jet engine had confused and surprised the inventors for many years because they didn’t know how he made the jet have a chamber that is strong enough house the engine that would make it push air so hard to push the airplane.

  6. How it Works • The jet engine pushes air out so the air pushes it really hard and make it go really fast and the put the paddles on the wing up that makes it fly and when you want to land you put the wings down so the wind pushes the plane down and for the invention to work you will need fuel.

  7. How the Jet Engine Solves the Problem • The jet engine is the fastest way of transportation it it the most comfortable and advanced way of transportation and it is very big and roomy and fits a lot of people in one plane.

  8. Transportation Before the Jet Engine • Before the invention of the jet engine people used boats for transportation the steam train and the propeller driven airplane but these ways were less faster and the propeller airplane was small so it couldn’t fit a lot of people but the ships could carry a lot of people but it was very slow.

  9. How the Jet Engine Improved Human Life • The jet engine has allowed many people to travel quicker and it carries a lot of people and goods for other people. The jet engine is also used for war.

  10. Changes in the jet engine • When they first created the jet engine it was small and they used it for war in world war two. So they made it bigger so more people could travel in it and so the can put peoples goods to send it to people.

  11. Problems of the jet engine • The problem of the jet engine it is not environmentally friendly the fuel the use makes lots of pollution and it will eventually run out.

  12. Time Line of the Invention • In 1939 the jet engine was created • 1940 they used jets in world war 2 • 1941 a man called dr.hans von ohain creates a more advanced jet.
