  2. Free-Style - On a keyboard on the black keys, Play what you think the Sparkly scales sound like.

  3. Sharing Activity • Volunteer to be the “Rainbow Fish” • Volunteer has all of the scales. • As the scales are handed out, students who have scales can begin to play on the keyboard on a specific pitch

  4. Getting Louder in Music • While still playing on the black keys, play louder as I point at an area with more fish.

  5. Getting Softer • Now play quieter as I point to an area with less fish

  6. Crescendo • When you see this sign in music, it is just like adding more fish. You get louder when you see a “Crescendo”

  7. Decrescendo • When you see this sign in music, it is just like taking away fish. You get softer when you see a “Decrescendo”

  8. Let’s Try It! • Try to play this music. Start really soft and then follow the markings
