  1. GENERACIÓN DEL 50 Poetas que, sin rechazar completamente el realismo ni el carácter comprometido de la poesía, pretenden aportar nuevas consideraciones.

CARACTERÍSTICAS Desaparece la creencia en su eficacia política y pasa a ser considerada un instrumento de conocimiento del mundo interior y exterior del poeta, pero de forma individual. • Burguesía ilustrada con formación universitaria. • Valoran a Antonio Machado. Influencia de Aleixandre con Historia del corazón. • Actitud crítica que se manifiesta a través del sentido del humor. • Meditaciones líricas sobre el paso del tiempo, la infancia… • Exaltación de la amistad como valor supremo e intemporal. • Nulo interés por quebrantar la estética tradicional. Obra bella.

CARACTERÍSTICAS EN EL ÁMBITO EXPRESIVO, CADA POETA TIENE SU ESTILO, PERO HAY RASGOS QUE SE REPITEN • AUSENCIA DE ESTROFISMO (endecasílabo) • AUSENCIA DE RIMA • ESTRUCTURA NARRATIVA • REITERACIONES Y PARALELISMOS • LÉXIMO URBANO • INCLUSIÓN DE COLOQUIALISMOS Y PROSAÍSMOS DE CLARA INTENCIÓN IRÓNICA ÁNGEL GONZÁLEZ, JAIME GIL DE BIEDMA, CLAUDIO RODRÍGUEZ, ÁNGEL VALENTE, JOSÉ AGUSTÍN GOYTISOLO, ANTONIO GAMONEDA.
