3. Talking about things you like Gustar = to like/to be pleasing To use GUSTAR there are only two possible forms: “Gusta” = singular nouns ex: Me gusta el arte. “Gustan” = plural nouns Ex: Me gustan las clases. Ex: Me gustan los deportes.

4. Key Questions – to discuss likes/dislikes and why: • To ask a friend if he/she likes 1 thing: ¿Te gusta la novela? ¿Por qué? (me gusta + es + sing. adj.) No, no me gusta la novela porque es aburrida. • To ask a friend if he/she likes 2+things: ¿Te gustan las clases? ¿Por qué? (me gustan + son + plural adj.) Sí, me gustan las clases porque son fáciles.

5. Practica: State two things you like and two you dislike using the new vocabulary and explaining why…. Ex: No me gustan los deportes porque son aburridos.
