  3. Example #1 • A rectangular bottom crate with a length of 2m and a width of 1.5m is resting on the floor. The crate has a mass of 50kg. • Calculate the area of the crate in contact with the floor. • Calculate the force the crate is exerting on the floor. • Calculate the pressure the crate is exerting on the floor in Pascals(Pa) and Kilopascals (kPa).

  4. Example #2 • What is the radius of a cylindrical container that has a mass of 60kg and exerts a pressure of 46.8 Pa on the floor?
