  3. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. But the day of efeiwill come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2nd Peter 3:10,11

  5. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of Elohim, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2nd Peter 3:12,13

  6. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohimout of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:2

  7. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Elohimis with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohimhimself shall be with them, and be their Elohim. Revelation 21:3 In this promise is found the culmination of the scarlet thread of redemption which runs from Genesis through Revelation. This has been the great purpose of the Kinsman-Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Since the rebellion of Adam, every tabernacle, every Temple, every correspondence between God and man has been with this ultimate goal in mind: the restoration of full fellowship between God and man.

  8. And Elohimshall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

  9. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohim, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:5-7

  11. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

  12. Who Goes In? • The fearful - persons showing fear in a shameful way.”29 The word is used to describe lack of faith (Mtt8:26; Mark 4:40) • The unbelieving - Those who did not believe the Truth are condemned (2ndTh 2:12) • Those who are unbelieving have a defiled mind and conscience. They often profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him (Titus 1:15-16) • The abominable - abhorrent, detestable, loathsome • They have become abominable because they participated in activities which are considered abominable to God

  13. Who Goes In? The murderers – self explanatory The whoremongers – sexually immoral, fornicating ones The sorcerers - one who prepares and uses drugs for magical purposes or ritual witchcraft sorcerer, poisoner, magician The idolaters - those who take part in idol-worship or consult false prophets The liars - Those who continue to lie will ultimately fall prey themselves to lies: they will not come to the Truth (2ndTh2:11-12)

  14. And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. Revelation 21:9 • Bride is nymphēn, used of the holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven (Rev 21:2) • Wife is gynaika, used of the wife of the Lamb at His marriage (Rev 19:7)

  15. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from Elohim, Having the glory of Elohim: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; Revelation 21:10,11 Jasper – Iaspis – diamond, opal, or topaz

  16. And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:12-14

  17. The Twelve Tribes For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:28 • This is proof that there is no such thing as the ten “lost” tribes of Israel • Some commentators would have us believe this is a distinction between Jews and the “NT” Church • Such thoughts create anti-Semitism and superiority complex among the church

  19. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. Revelation 21:15-17

  20. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. Revelation 21:18-20

  21. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for efeiElohimAlmighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Elohimdid lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Revelation 21:21-23

  22. The Sun and Moon Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:35-37

  23. The Sun and Moon Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. Psalms 89:35-37

  24. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. Revelation 21:24,25

  25. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:26,27
