  1. American Heart Association American Heart Association was formed in New York City in 1994 and it is an association for the prevention of heart diseases. American Heart Association is a non-profit association in the United States that funds cardiovascular medical research. AHA is a national voluntary health agency. Course Content Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED. Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest.
