  3. Starting from the highest levelLearning Paths weighting system In this example, we have a learning path that contains 2 courses. As always, the total possible result is 100%. In this configuration 30% of the result will come from Course 1 and 70% from Course 2. So, if the user achieved 100% for both Course 1 and Course 2, then they would achieve 100% for the Learning Path.

In this configuration 30% of the result will come from Course 1 and 70% from Course 2. So, if the user achieved 70% for both Course 1 and Course 2, then they would achieve 70% for the Learning Path. Lets see how it’s calculated.

  8. Course Configuration weighting system In this example, we have a course that contains 2 lessons. As always, the total possible result is 100%. In this configuration 30% of the result will come from Lesson 1 and 70% from Lesson 2. So, if the user achieved 100% for both Lesson 1 and Lesson 2, then they would achieve 100% for the Course.

  12. Lesson Configuration weighting system In each lesson you set the pass mark. Eg: 95% If the student attempts the exam and does not achieve the pass mark, then they have failed. This also effects the course as the course totals won’t be calculated until the course is successfully completed, if in the course configuration the “Must be completed” checkbox is set for this lesson.

  13. Question Configuration weighting system Each Question has an option to enter the point value to receive if the question is answered correctly. Eg: 5 points. When the exam is completed, the system totals the points awarded and divides them by the total possible number of points that could have been awarded. Then converts this into a percentage. This percentage is then used for the grading of the lesson, Pass or Fail.
