  5. Personal Connection District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008)affirmed the right own a firearm in the U.S. Restrictions can apply on a state by state basis.

  6. Societal Connection We must participate in the political process to ensure our right to bear arms is not taken away
