  3. Social policy Social policy is state action, which is addressed to all social groups in society. It aims to safeguard their livelihood and basic needs of intangible assets and property.     A special group in this area is the family, which is considered as the basic unit of social policy.

  4. Social policy Social policy - adopted and implemented by the public authorities and NGOs, the team long-term actions to meet needs and solve social problems.

  5. Social Policy The main task of social policy is to protect man from the frustration of his needs, initially the most elementary, then the developmental needs (J. Supińska).

  6. Social Policy Social policy objectives:Improving the position of vulnerable groups and socially and prevention of risks that threaten their existence,Organizing for social progress,Defense against unsatisfied basic human needs and development,

  7. Social Policy Social policy deals with:- Poverty, so the state where the individual or a social group lacks the means to live, which it needed to in order to meet their basic needs. The basic needs are those which in a given society are necessary for the proper, normal functioning.- Unemployment,

  8. Social Policy - Problems of family and children issueshomelessness - is considered to be homeless people as a result of random accidents or as a result of their behavior were on the edge of the deepest poverty, poverty;- Housing- disability

Social Policy The main objectives of social assistance:support individuals and families in overcoming the difficult situation, to bring - if possible - to their life and empowerment to enable them to live in conditions corresponding to human dignity,providing income at the level of social intervention - for those who have no income or low income, working age and persons with disabilities,
