EHS College Entrance ExamsContinued….. • If taking ACT, determine if writing score is needed. • Call college of choice • www.actstudent.org - Follow link on “Writing Test” to see list of colleges requiring or recommending a writing score • Register online (www.actstudent.org) • Make sure to write down username and password for future reference. • A photo will need to be uploaded when registering for ACT

The College Search • Plan a summer trip to visit top 3-4 choices • This can be done in the fall/winter of senior year also • Watch college websites for “Junior Days” • Representatives from many different colleges visit Elkhorn at least once a year. • Watch Naviance account for upcoming visitors and sign up if you would like additional information. • Students are excused from class but must sign up at least two days in advance.

NCAA Students interested in playing D1 or D2 sports- • Register/pay at www.eligibilitycenter.org by the end of junior year • Send ACT scores directly to NCAA (indicate on ACT registration) • Information about recruiting, resumes, and colleges is available on NCAA website • Request a transcript be sent to NCAA NAIA Students interested in playing NAIA sports- • Register/pay at www.playnaia.org by the end of junior year • Send ACT scores directly to NAIA (indicate on ACT registration) Contact Division 3 School for special instructions

  14. Senior Course Registration Sheet Please sign and return before leaving tonight. If you are not ready to sign the form tonight, please return to the Counseling Center by February 22nd to reserve your student’s classes. Please choose carefully as next year’s master schedule will be made based upon courses your student has currently selected.
