  2. Story of My Life You have just been given a contract to write your autobiography for a major publishing company.  Your agent Harry Hardnose is anxious to get to press.  He has decided to help you get started with a few probing questions.  • First, take a piece of paper and fold it in half and then in half again to form a book.  • Choose the title of a popular song for the name of your book.  Write that title on the front cover. • On the inside of the front cover (page two), list a table of contents. • Name of the place where you were born. • Description of your first job. • Number of years you have been working for your company. • On page three, draw a picture of your family. • On the back cover of the book, draw a picture of what you plan to do when you retire.  Where will you go?  Who will you go with?  Etc.

  3. Discovering Your Motivational Gifts • Receive gifts affirmation protocol • Complete protocol • Score your protocol • On your own, look and reflect on your gift descriptions • In small groups, give and receive feedback on each others’ gifts

  4. On page 2 in the Introduction section of this module we quote the following Carl Jung statement: “The world will ask you who you are, and if you do not know, the world will tell you.” The point he was making is that there are so many competing demands upon our time and attention that they will consume us unless we set our own priorities. Discuss how it is that our priorities can define who we are?

  5. Read Ephesians 6:10-18 • Why is a leader’s spiritual life the foundation for everything else they do in ministry? • What are the easiest and most difficult parts of the armour of God for you to put on?
